Overview
Course Overview
The IYT Small Powerboat & RIB Master programme is offered through two official training pathways.
Option A is a 3-day course combining classroom theory with practical on-water training. Option B lets you complete the IYT eLearning theory online first, then join us for 2 days of in-person practical training and assessment. For Option B, you must pass the IYT online theory examination and provide your theory completion certificate before the practical training begins.
Both pathways cover boat handling, safety at sea, anchoring, launching and recovery, and man-overboard procedures.
The IYT certificate covers vessels up to 15 metres, operating in coastal regions within sight of land in fair weather. Course completion and certificate issuance are subject to applicable IYT requirements and confirmed school authorization.
